Step into Stack and Hearth, where Melbourne's supper club tradition meets the clandestine allure of a poker room. Our interior is a study in contrasts: raw concrete and warm timber, soft leather and crimson felt.

The space is designed to feel both intimate and expansive, with low lighting and rich textures. Every detail, from the brushed steel accents to the deep red poker tables, reinforces the theme of underground elegance.

Our design philosophy is 'Underground Elegance'—a marriage of raw, tactile materials with refined, contemporary details. The result is a space that feels both exclusive and welcoming.

Matte black surfaces and deep red accents evoke the felt and shadows of the card table. Cream and brushed steel provide contrast and a modern edge. Bold condensed typography and dramatic photography reinforce the venue's confident, nocturnal character.

The Underground Card Room

Descend into our card room, a sanctuary for poker enthusiasts. The room is designed to focus the mind: low lighting, felt-topped tables, and the quiet shuffle of chips.

All poker activities are strictly offline, physical, and chips-only. No real money, no online gambling. The room features Texas Hold'em tables and hosts regular tournaments and events. The atmosphere is one of camaraderie and concentration, with a touch of old-world charm.

Our interior is defined by a palette of raw and refined materials. Concrete, dark timber, leather, and red felt come together to create a space that is both rugged and luxurious.

Mood and Light

The atmosphere at Stack and Hearth is carefully curated. Low, warm lighting creates pools of intimacy, while the soft clink of glasses and the shuffle of cards provide a soothing soundtrack.

Lighting: dimmable pendant lights over tables, subtle LED strips along the bar. Sound: a curated playlist of jazz and blues at a comfortable volume. Scent: subtle notes of leather and wood, with a hint of fine dining aromas.
